Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Merve Bozdag started her musical career straight after university in 2012 where she joined Newspeak, a local agency promoting underground electronic music.

After a few years with Newspeak, Merve decided to continue independently and has since played in several venues and national and international festivals such as Licht Am Berg Festival Berlin, Chill Out & Minipax festivals in Istanbul, Turkey and Dakini Festival in Tuzla, Romania. Other than DJ'ing, she has been pursuing music production for the last few years, playing in an electronic band 'Valley's Echo' and now focusing on her new joint project Tehanu. 

‍Her music has been described as intense, colourful and flowy; with each of her sets and tracks portraying different stories, reflecting the variations of life.
